Where communication is concerned, Pinko was distinctive in the past for advertising campaigns featuring Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Elle McPherson, Mariah Carey, Steven Klein and is currently working with Terry Richardson and Erin Wasson. In addition, Pinko decided to set up its own press office, in total synergy with the Fidenza Headquarters. All backed up by big investments in advertising in the top dailies and fashion magazines in Italy and abroad.
On the retail level, Pinko has lately been undergoing a deep restructuring phase: no longer several shops in each province but just a few stores that are very prestigious. This change in strategy is very simple to understand: formerly, space was subtracted from multi-brand clients and brand value was also lowered; now any conflicts of interest with clients have been resolved, leaving them room to grow, especially in the provinces. Pinko thus shoulders the costlier running costs of more prestigious locations. In turn, distribution is increasingly selective, thereby making room for wholesale clients and in exchange getting bigger and bigger purchase volumes. De facto creating a solid win-win relationship.
Pinko has just moved to its new offices, only steps away from former Headquarters; that have been designed for the comfort of employees and to provide a pleasant environment fostering even greater creativity.

Fendi Women's Collection Spring Summer 2011

Karl Lagerfeld once again takes the role of the photographer for the shoot of the Fendi 2011 Spring Summer advertising campaign starring top models Anja Rubik and Baptiste Giabiconi.

In 1925, the house of Fendi is born with the establishment of the first handbag shop and fur workshop in Via del Plebiscito, Rome. The new Fendi business, led by the young couple Edoardo and Adele Fendi, immediately wins great acclaim for the quality of its products. For the Roman bourgeoisie, a trip to Fendi at the Plebiscito becomes a date with a certain prestige.

In 1946, the five daughters of Edoardo and Adele begin working for the family business, each bringing new energy and ideas. The five sisters develop and propose new products for the leather goods and fur lines. A few years later, the Fendi sisters meet a young rising star making waves in the Paris design circuit: Karl Lagerfeld. In the hands of Lagerfeld, a fashion revolution takes place: the fur is changed, moulded, redesigned and reinterpreted, becoming a fashionable, soft, light item of clothing. The materials also change, and skins that had been forgotten or neglected are used in production once again. At this time the double F is designed and becomes an all-important feature.

In 1969, Fendi adds an industrial pr?t-a-porter collection to the entirely hand-crafted production of its furs. The Fendi Bag is also transformed, offering new rules governing elegance and practicality, innovation and style. The answer to rigid handbags is the innovative creation of soft, unstructured bags. The leather is printed, woven, dyed and tanned to make it more soft and attractive and so begins the journey of a new generation of Fendi bags.
In 1977 the ready-to-wear is launched, a clothing line with the same criteria of careful design and elegance.

The creativity of Silvia Venturini Fendi, the creative director of the house, leads to the Fendi Baguette in 1997. The success of the little bag to be carried under the arm, like the bread of the same name, is an immediate success. More than 600 versions, with different, unusual materials, quickly make it an essential accessory and a collector's item. This becomes a real phenomenon that, in only a few seasons, transforms this bag into a cult object. In the wake of the Baguette, Silvia Fendi follows with the creation of the Spy bag phenomenon in 2005 and the B Fendi bag in 2006.

Maria Schneider, Star of 'Last Tango in Paris,' Dies Following IllnessMaria Schneider, who at age 19 starred opposite Marlon Brando in Bernardo Bertolucci's controversial 'Last Tango in Paris,' passed away in France after a battle with cancer.

The 58-year-old actress, who played Brando's soon-to-be-married lover, Jeanne, in the 1972 film, was living in Paris at the time of her death, PEOPLE reports.

Although it was her most recognizable role, Schneider said that she struggled with the part both during and after the film's production. "I was too young to know better. Marlon later said that he felt manipulated, and he was Marlon Brando, so you can imagine how I felt," she told the Daily Mail. "People thought I was like the girl in the movie, but that wasn't me."

In the years after her most famous performance, Schneider starred opposite Jack Nicholson in 'The Passenger,' but otherwise led a simple life and shied away from the limelight.

"I don't own anything," she told Roger Ebert. "I don't have any maids or answering services or those things. I spend my money on food and travel and cameras ... None of my friends are actors or directors or Hollywood types. I'm not interested in that crowd."

Lil Jon Says 'Celebrity Apprentice' Contestants Discounted Him Because He's a Rapper

Lil Jon may be a rapper, but he's also been an entrepreneur, a record exec and a marketer. He thinks the rapper stigma made him seem like less of a threat to his 'Celebrity Apprentice' competitors on the upcoming round of the Donald Trump reality competition, which airs in March.

"People think, 'Oh, I don't need to worry about him,' and they underestimate me because I am a rapper," Jon told PopEater. "They're not realizing I have a vast knowledge in all types of business and I am a real threat."

During our chat Jon revealed his business strategy for the show, how he plans to blow up that rapper stigma and why he is a little afraid of Star Jones.

What was your biz strategy going into the competition?
What I told my teammates is that we just can't lose. We had to win and keep it real with each other. If someone f**ked up, they needed to admit to f**king up.

Who were you scared of?
Richard Hatch because he was on 'Survivor' and Star Jones because she is a lawyer and it is hard to beat a lawyer at anything.

Was there anyone you just hated?
I'm a people person. I can get along with the biggest a**holes in the world so I got along with pretty much everybody.

How did you prepare for the show?
I watched past seasons. I watched two seasons straight of 'Celebrity Apprentice' to see what I was getting my damn self into and to make sure I was mentally prepared for this journey.

Are there any past contestants you tried to emulate?
I liked Bret Michaels a lot because he just kept it real and wore his heart on his sleeve.

Why did you decide to do the show?
There's a bunch of reasons. I definitely wanted to help out people in need. [Jon's charity is the United Methodist Children's Home.] But I also wanted to dispel the rumor that rappers are blunt-smoking ignorant people.

Mick Jagger to Perform at the Grammys for First Time

Gywneth Paltrow and Cee Lo won't be the only ones rocking out at this year's Grammys. Rolling Stones' frontman Mick Jagger will be performing live at the awards for the first time in his career at this month's ceremony in Los Angeles!

The 67-year old will be performing solo as a part of the show's annual tribute to musicians who have recently died. The talented singer/songwriter will honor gospel and blues singer Solomon Burke and be accompanied on the Grammy stage by soul singer Raphael Saadiq and his band, organizers said on Thursday.

"We're thrilled, delighted, excited and very much looking forward to Mick doing his debut on the Grammy stage," said Neil Portnow, the president and chief executive of the Recording Academy. "It's extraordinary to many of us that the fact is, this will be the first time; he has never performed on the Grammy stage."

Jagger has, however, appeared as part of the Grammys before. In 1986, he appeared via satellite with The Rolling Stones when the band was presented with a lifetime achievement award.

The 53rd Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, Feb. 13.

Marisa Miller earned her wings as a Victoria's Secret Angel and solidified her supermodel status on the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition. But once she'd tackled the fashion runways, Miller stepped onto the football field as the NFL's 2010 spokesperson.

Now a source tells PopEater that the blonde beauty will be hosting and attending a variety of events this week in Dallas, Texas leading up to the Super Bowl on Sunday. On Wednesday, Miller will be conducting interviews on Media Row discussing her love of football and predictions for the big game.

While the couple aren't moving in together yet, the 'Fashion Police' judge is happy in her new relationship.


"It's true, I'm having fun getting to know someone new," she told British magazine Closer. "I met Rob over in the U.K. recently, and I want to take things slowly."

Michael Lohan: Lindsay Didn't Steal, She Got the Necklace on Consignment

Lindsay Lohan's latest scandal revolves around a $2,500 necklace that she was seen taking from a high-end jewelry story near her Venice Beach home, and although she could face charges of grand theft, her father calls it one big "ridiculous" misunderstanding.

"When Lindsay wants jewlery, she askes me and I buy it. And if I think it's too pricey, she buys it," he tells me. "She gets so much on consignment and that's exactly what happened here."

Michael isn't buying reports that the jeweler and the police worked together for weeks to craft a sting operation in order to catch the 'Mean Girls' star wearing a $2,500 necklace.

"If she took something, it would have been addressed at the end of that business day."

A friend of the actress turned the necklace in to the Pacific Division of the LAPD Tuesday night.

Kamofie & Co. reported the necklace stolen on Jan. 22, roughly three weeks after the actress was released from three months of court-ordered rehab at the Betty Ford Center.
