Have you seen the all new Vera Bradley 2011 summer patterns yet? At the time of this writing the new patterns are not even available in stores right now, but there was a period for a couple days where Vera Bradley gave us a sneak peek at what we have in store for the summer this year.
So what are the names of the four new designs? Well the names are just about as creative as the colors themselves. So here they are: Viva La Vera, Red Deco, Watercolor, and English Meadow. You may notice that one of these patterns is the name of an older, retired Vera Bradley pattern. That pattern is Watercolor, but it's not the same design as before. It's a very unique style that truly looks like it was done with watercolors. But instead of looking cheap, the pattern is actually very elegant and has a lovely airy hue which will make it easy to match with most wardrobes.
The most popular pattern so far has been Viva La Vera. It has a white background with the predominant colors being green and purple. It really has a garden vibe to it which reminds me of Hope Garden with a more edgy twist. With a name like Viva La Vera I am sure that Vera Bradley wants this to be an iconic design that becomes a crowd favorite for years to come.
English Meadow is another design that is just classic Vera with light, pastel tones of green and blue. The colors remind me a little of the Bermuda Blue colors with a nice pop of lime green in it. The print is composed of tiny floral arrangements and the name English Meadow is very fitting.
But my ultimate favorite is the Red Deco pattern. The vibrant deep red is a welcomed color scheme, especially with the Mesa Red pattern now retired. The black and white daisy flower looks almost like a silhouette against the red background and I have a feeling this pattern is going to be a huge hit when it comes to Vera Bradley stores across the country.
These four new patterns are a great addition to the already popular collection from the company. They have not hit the store shelves yet, and they should be coming out by March or April. Most Vera Bradley fans are already raving about these 2011 summer patterns, so they should sell very well when they hit the store shelves. These designs have been unveiled and can be found at different websites online.
